I've stayed at the Microtel at El Paso International Airport. I like it's proximity to the airport. You can step off the plane, collect your luggage and walk to the hotel-how convenient! Microtel is very clean, the staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. It's a no-frills hotel, similar to Super 8 but definitely a step up and the price is great. The decor is stylish and attractive, better than Super 8 and far better than Motel 6. The beds are nice, not lumpy. Along the road just outside of the Microtel are many other hotels, mostly 5 star, that usually have rooms available. The Radisson, the Wyndham, Courtyard, all excellent but up to 3 times the cost. I highly recommend the Microtel, very safe for women, a little noisy during the day but it never bothered me. The planes overhead are not a significant factor in noise either.
