I was interested in a dog who was grossly misrepresented on Pet Haven's website. When I went to look at the dog at a pet event, a volunteer whom I had never met or spoken to came up to me and basically told me off for being interested in a dog with such severe behavioral problems as a first-time dog owner. (I was never told about he behavioral problems by the other volunteers.) I felt set up and offended. I ended up adopting a dog from another organization. I don't feel that nice people wanting to adopt a dog should be treated like scum.
