Business Description:
Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects low-income Marylanders in need of civil legal assistance with pro bono attorneys. Individuals can call during intake hours, Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm, to describe their civil legal problems to an intake paralegal. If the caller qualifies based on income and type of legal issue, we will match the client with an attorney who has expertise in the areas of need. MVLS also provides free legal assistance to nonprofits working to strengthen low-income communities in Maryland.
