I am very dissapointed in my experience with the South Side Animal Shelter. My girlfriend and I went in to adopt a cat a couple of weekends ago. We spent probably an hour with alot of different cats trying to decide which one was best for us. We ended up falling in love with a white and gray kitten, approx. 6 months old we later named Peyton. He seemed kind of small, but was very loving and affectionate. We were told he was still to be neutered , and would be scheduled for this week. We talked to a couple of different people that day, Rose being one of them. She was very helpful and seemed to care about the animals, the others we talked to couldn't seem to care less one way or the other. My girlfriend picked him up a week later( this past Sat. ), and the first day he seemed Ok, but wouldn't eat much. We figured it was from all of the stress and moving to a new home. On sunday, he would try to eat, but would cough. He also seemed to have less energy. He just laid with me on the cou
