Excellent single room occupancy hotel. I really think this hotelier is trying to make this the best little hotel in the Mission. 1906 details are returning as rooms get renovated. I stayed, with my cat, in the Sun Room, with great view of Mission at 15th and warm mornings. Shared bathrooms and showers (not communal), tiny and tidy down the hall are relics of another era, and help maintain the sense that you've moved a hundred years back in time rather than another inconvenience. Quite a refuge from the wickedly urban and colorful world just outside the door. Excellenet location, five blocks to the Castro, but the heart of the Mission. Much cheaper than some of the urine soaked, creep-filled single room occupancy hotels I looked at with more modern plumbing, and CLEANER. I never thought I'd love living in a hotel, especially in this recovering-from-blight neighborhood, but these folks have made me very comfortable, without any prying, and by using trditional common sense when choosing t
