i went to this PEPBOYS for a brake job- a brake job whic became a marathon of frustration. the bill started at 160. for shoes pads etc. after 5 hours the bill went up to 500. after 8 hours I had to leave it because of a part they had to order. next day the bill rose up to 800 something bucks and I drove away relieved that the bleeding had stopped at $800 bucks. halfway home the brakes started smoking as if the wheels were on fire- so I had the car towed back after another 8 hour wait they told me that they couldn't get the part that the car needed so they were putting back on the old part....ok ? what about the cash I paid you for the part you apparently never put on? ok I got 200 bucks back now the brake job is down to just 600 bucks right? drive away and again the wheels smoke as if they are on fire AGAIN!! TOW # 2 they did pay for each tow but the hours I spent sitting on the side of the road waiting for these tows were not payable! DAY 3 after 5 hours and the entire crew seemingly
